Positive: First of all, the hosts Franck & Francis are as friendly as you can find. They do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location itself is astonishing. A beautiful old house, that is renovated in the important parts (bathroom, toilet) and still has a lot of its charm from the past. Our room was huge with more than enough space for our baby bed in a separate room. Breakfast is amazing and very complete. Dinner is a must book! Franck cooks delicious 3-course meals and the costs are way below a restaurant. We are definitely coming back!
Negative: The only thing I could mention, is the location has got no AC. We knew that when we booked, so it was no surprise. At night it cools down pretty good. But during a heatwave the provided fan is just not enough. All other days you’re more than fine with the fan. I can imagine that installing AC in a historic house like this is prohibited in all kinds of laws. So like I said, this would make it an 11. Because now it already is a gem of a location and hosts!
